Sometimes you don’t have to think long about the inspiration for a song. It just comes, for example, when you’re walking along the water during a morning walk. Along a path that takes you from one place to another.
The path can also be a metaphor for the journey you go through to get somewhere, spiritually, perhaps even physically. That can sometimes be a struggle. The question is whether it will be difficult and what the outcome will be.
