What is an ‘impossible planet’? Perhaps you are thinking of Mercury. Close to the sun, visibly ravaged by crater impacts. How about Venus, which people on Earth thought was habitable?
Perhaps it is a bleak vision of what could happen if we continue on the same destructive path, destroying our own planet. When our own living environment becomes a Planeta Impossibilis, that is a reality when you think about the way humans are leaving their mark on the earth. Perhaps even more importantly, the way certain people in power who deny the facts and refuse to acknowledge reality.
